At a time when few employers cared about protecting their employees, Paul Graber Senn focused his attention on shielding workers from the dangers of accidents. As early as World War II, he founded a trading company for eye protection in Basel.

Within a short time, the forward-thinking company began to optimise the safety glasses it imported largely from the United States. As demand for Unico Graber's exceptional products grew, Beat Alfred Graber successfully implemented his father's vision in 1980, opening a production facility in Hölstein, Canton Basel-Landschaft. Dominique Graber, who has led the company in its third generation since 2009, remains committed to the founders' ideals. In 2015, another milestone was reached with the new headquarters in Münchenstein and the founding of a subsidiary in Lörrach (Germany).

Our story

What started as a small optician's shop is today the Swiss specialist for industrial eye protection. We combine craftsmanship in optics with deep knowledge of protection standards and workplace requirements.
